Dafür müssten der globale Norden und der globale Süden jedoch an einem Strang ziehen und Allianzen bilden.
The Trade Union Rights Center in Indonesia looks at a possible just transition, focusing on questions of job security, social protection, and decent working conditions. According to Didit, a just transition in the clothing, footwear, and textile industry especially requires government support in cases of job loss as well as greater efforts to ensure safety and health at work. However, for this to happen, the global North and the global South need to work together and form alliances.
